The school day
The times of sessions are as follows:
Nursery
Morning session: 8.45am to 11.45am pm – Afternoon session: 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm (Doors open at 3:20pm)
Reception and Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2)
Morning session: 9.00 am to 11.45am – Afternoon session: 12.30 pm to 3.15 pm
Key Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4)
Morning session: 9.00 am to 12.30 pm – Afternoon session: 1.15 pm to 3.15 pm
Key Stage 2 (Years 5 and 6)
Morning session: 9.00 am to 12.30 pm – Afternoon session: 1.15 pm to 3.15 pm
Arriving at school
The pedestrian gates into the playground on Masterman Road are open between 8.45 and 9.00am in the morning and between 3.00 – 3.30pm in the afternoon.
Entrance is also via the park gate in Brampton Park which is open from 8.45am and closes at 9.00am in the morning and from 3.00 – 3.30pm in the afternoon. If you come to the school outside these times, you will need to use the main entrance on Brampton Road.
At the start of the school day, children can go straight into their classes from 8.45am. You should make sure that your child arrives on time for the beginning of school. You should also make sure that you are on time to collect your child at the end of the day.
If you are delayed, please call the office – children can become very distressed if they are not collected on time.
Brampton After-School Care
