On 21st November the Junior Choir attended an interactive performance of Through The Looking Glass at the Barbican Centre. The music tells Lewis Carroll’s classic story through music and song, specially composed by composer Paul Rissmann, who presented the concert. The children had learnt the songs during choir and enjoyed singing along with the London Symphony Orchestra and professional singers. As well as being immersed in the story the children experienced first-hand a world-class symphony orchestra playing live. Everyone particularly enjoyed the final piece played by the orchestra, a rousing rendition of Star Wars.
