On Thursday 19th January, the 29 members of the Senior Choir joined a choir of 9,000 children to participate in the Young Voices concert at the O2 Arena. Young Voices is an annual event held in Birmingham, Manchester and Sheffield as well as London. The children learn a diverse range of songs and dance moves, and come together for a joyful concert in front of an audience of 10,000. Also taking part were the fantastic Beat Box Collective and street dance group Urban Strides.
One of the highlights of the evening was accompanying legendary singer Heather Small in her inspirational hit song Proud. Our Brampton choir were fantastic and sang with passion and enthusiasm. This concert was yet another example of the positive influence music can have on our lives, and for everyone who attended the experience will last a lifetime.
